The application of Motivational Inquiry (MI) in health care has been proven to facilitate behavior change. MI helps a manager improve patient/client/resident outcomes as well as to shape team culture towards measurable results. Managers in healthcare, aging, disability, behavioral health, senior living and criminal justice seek these skills to improve their ability to empower others through non-confrontational language.
This program, serving the New England states, is offered in a hybrid format. It includes 3 mini courses. Each course meets live for 7 hours on a Friday, and completes the work online over 9 days. It draws managers from an approximately 2.5 hour radius of Boston.
This course sequence allows participants to practice MI, improve their score in MI adherence, and to prepare for crucial meetings as they move teams toward change.
