October has officially begun, meaning there are only 2 weeks until we launch the Strategic Management Track. We’re excited to meet our diverse group of participants: we have a blend of managers from Independent Living, CCRCs, Area Agencies on Aging, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing and one brave social entrepreneur! We have nurse managers, social workers, facilities, hospitality and activity managers: the backbone of organizations, whether non-profit or for profit.
The first class of our 5-mini course track, Strategic Thinking in Changing Senior Market, begins on October 14. It’ll be our first live meeting of the fall, where participants can experience learning in person from Kevin Burke, CEO of North Hill, and Hector Iweka, management faculty at Lasell College, before moving onto 2 additional weeks of online learning to complete the mini-course.
We had many requests for the courses from outside of New England, and are in the process of planning a completely online track called the “Executive Growth Track” for launch in 2016. We hope to serve the needs of managers in senior living and aging services wherever they are located.
We look forward to meeting, networking with, and learning from our participants again this year.
